  1. Kansas Press Association - An Organization formed over 150 years ago that represents newspapers and journalists to promote journalism and the free press. They help inform members of potential career opportunities and host many conventions and conferences in addition to their important work.
  2. Society of Professional Journalists - A society dedicated to fighting battles for journalists promoting free speech and protecting a journalist’s rights to the First Amendment. Offers Collegiate Institutional Memberships, meaning it would be easy to gain access and exposure to such a valiant and valuable organization even before I graduate.
