Homework for Friday…
1) Read the introduction bios posted on this page and comment on 5 of them. Yes, the quality of your posts matter. Get to know your classmates. You will have a blog group where you will read and comment on each other's blogs.

2) Establish your OWN blog on Blogger. Write the welcome post, which introduces both you as the author and the blog itself. You do not need to give your life's story. Think of this post as marketing for your blog. In addition, you also need to create the first post of "official content." In other words, DO what you say you are going to do in your first post. To turn in your blog, you must share the URL. You have two options.
 #1You can simply post the URL to your blog as a comment on this very post. Try to write a snappy sentence about your blog, followed by a complete URL.

#2Or you can create your own post. Again, try to write a snappy sentence about your blog, followed by a complete URL.

The internet has made many, many wonderful things possible. Yay technology. One of these things is a concept we call crowd sourcing or crowd sharing, etc. Robust user-friendly templates allow users all over the world to begin a fundraising campaign literally in minutes. Let me show you exactly what I mean. Sharon Sullivan is a professor in Washburn's Theatre department. She has a passion for helping empower all kinds of people. One of her heart causes happens to be families who have found themselves battling domestic violence. She has a goal to reach $1,000 for her cause through a website called CrowdRise.
