Discussion delays advertising breaks

Professor Charles Cranston shared this link with the members of the mass media faculty, and I wanted to share it with you as well.

He notes that during MSNBC's Morning Joe, during a planned 7-minute segment with Michael Moore,  MSNBC waived off commercial breaks and went for about 45 minutes with non-stop discussions and comments about the election,  the political parties,  the responsibilities of our leaders,  and what the American people need to do now and in the future.

Cranston writes, "This is an amazing and historical television moment."
