Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a book series written by Rick Rordian. The first book, The Lightning Thief was published in 2005 and was later turned into a movie in 2010. It was directed by Chris Columbus,
famous for directing the first two Harry Potter Movies, Home Alone, Mrs. Doubtfire and more. The movie stars Logan Lerman, Sean Bean and Pierce Brosnan. The movie received a 49% rating on Rotten Tomatoes
and has been criticized by Rick Rordian himself saying that he “would rather have my teeth pulled with no anesthesia” than watch the movies. In this video I sit down with my younger sister Abigail and
make her watch Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Lightning Thief and get her opinions on the movie vs. the book.
