I would assume that about everyone knows Cardi B or have heard of her. And well for those who don't you're in luck! Cardi was born and raised in The Bronx in New York. She had became famous at first on the internet through Instagram. She attracted a lot of attention by her "no filter" personality and being open about her career as a stripper. She looks at her days of stripping as a positive way and says it saved her from a lot of things. Cardi explains that it was her only way out to earn enough money for an education. In 2015-2017 she appeared as a cast member on the VH1 reality TV show, Love & Hip Pop: New York. She then signed her first label record deal with Atlantic Record in February of 2017. Her debut single, "Bodak Yellow" reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Which made her the second ever female rapper to do so with a solo output. This single was included on her debut album, Invasion of Privacy.
Cardi is known widely for her personality, explicit music and use of the internet. She uses the internet to express her thoughts and opinions with no care about what anyone has to say. Her thoughts could go on about a rant in her life, her political thoughts, and just to roast someone.
